Privacy Policy
HoroscopeGen (horoscopegen.in), owned and operated by Amudha Priya, generates horoscope reports from the birth details you enter. This page explains what happens to that information.
What you enter
- Name, date, time and place of birth, and optionally gender. These are sent to our calculation server to compute the horoscope and to build the Excel and PDF files.
- The optional email address stays in your browser. It is used only to address the message when you press the Email button, which opens your own email app.
What we keep
We do not keep your birth details. They are used to produce the result and are not saved in a database. There are no user accounts. The hosting companies that run this site and its server (Netlify and Render) keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and time of request, as every web host does.
Place search
When you press Search for a birth place, the place name you typed is sent through our server to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find its coordinates. Your name and birth date and time are not sent to it.
Cookies and other services
- We do not set tracking or advertising cookies.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
- The site stores its own files on your device so that it opens faster on your next visit.
- Sharing by WhatsApp or email opens those apps with a summary; what happens next is governed by their policies.
Children
A parent or guardian may enter a child's birth details. The same rule applies: they are not stored.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
